Peta joined Marsdens after graduating with Honours in Law and a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Wollongong University in 2001.
Peta is an active and enthusiastic lawyer who has achieved a broad range of knowledge and experience practising in our Local Government, Planning & Environmental Law Section. Peta appears regularly as a advocate representing Councils in Land and Environment Court and Supreme Court proceedings which have involved a variety of environmental and planning issues. She has also successfully represented Applicants in planning appeals and assisted individuals and developers to obtain consent and achieve their desired development. Peta works closely with Adam Seton in the preparation of complex legal advices in this highly specialised area.
As a member of the Environmental Planning Law Association and Law Society Young Lawyers Association, Peta keeps abreast of the continuing developments in planning law. Her expert knowledge and practical approach to the law assists clients to navigate the often complex planning regime without the stress associated with property development.
Peta is married with 2 children and is also involved in a range of junior sports and community activities, including regularly representing Marsdens in community and corporate running events.
