Peter Brock will go down in history. Unfortunately, so too will the story of his Estate. Calm and meticulous in his driving, yet like many Australians, unprepared when he passed away suddenly in 2006. Brock had 3 “Wills” when he died. One from 1984, another from 2003 and the final in 2006. The 2003 Will was done by way of the DIY Will Kit. An Australia Post delivery driver who was injured when he was hit by a reversing vehicle, has successfully sued the driver of the vehicle, with the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory finding the driver negligent in failing to keep a proper lookout.

A primary school teacher who broke her knee after slipping on a grape on the floor during a fruit break at school, and unsuccessfully sued her employer in negligence, has now been unsuccessful on appeal, with the Supreme Court of Queensland Court of Appeal finding no breach of duty of care.
