Sean Bunnell | Senior Associate
Sean is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Law Department at our Campbelltown office, working alongside Partners Justin Thornton and Rahul Lachman across all areas of Commercial Law.
Since joining Marsdens in 2018, Sean has built a broad foundation of legal experience, beginning his career as a Family Law Clerk before progressing to become a Solicitor and developing his skills within the Commercial Law Department. This experience has given Sean a strong understanding of the importance of clear, practical advice and a client-focused approach to legal matters.
Today, Sean applies that experience to his commercial practice, assisting clients with a wide range of commercial legal matters and working closely with them to understand their objectives, identify potential issues and find practical solutions.

He brings that same considered and practical approach to his commercial practice, taking the time to understand the circumstances of each client and provide advice that is clear, commercially focused and tailored to their objectives.

His focus is on helping clients understand their position, navigate potential risks and make informed decisions with confidence.

Sean grew up in Campbelltown and has a strong connection to the local community. His knowledge and understanding of the area give him a genuine appreciation for the people, businesses and community that make up the Macarthur region.
His career at Marsdens has also allowed Sean to develop longstanding relationships with the local community, giving him a strong foundation from which to assist clients with their legal needs.
Experience Built at Marsdens
Sean joined Marsdens in 2018, beginning his legal career as a Family Law Clerk. Over the following years, he developed his legal skills as both a Law Clerk and Solicitor in our Family Law Department before moving into his current role in Commercial Law.
In 2020, Sean completed his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology at Western Sydney University. He subsequently completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the College of Law and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in March 2021.
Sean is also on the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia.

Outside of work, Sean is an avid soccer and basketball fan and enjoys all things fitness and sport related. He also enjoys hiking, spending time with friends and playing with his dog, Spud.
