Rylie is an experienced advocate appearing regularly across the Local Courts in Sydney and the wider Sydney Metropolitan area. Her experience in this jurisdiction has built respectable relationships with the Magistracy and other key stakeholders in the jurisdiction.

Her commitment to clients and knowledge of Local Court Practice and Procedure enables her to identify the important issues our clients face and communicate that in a simple, straightforward and compassionate way. Her ability to do so has built the trust and respect of her clients.

Rylie has extensive knowledge in traffic and driving matters; appearing on behalf of clients in relation to Drink Driving offences, Drive Whilst Disqualified, Licence Appeals and Penalty Infringement Notices. Her experience in the Local Court has a significant focus on defended Hearings such as, Domestic Violence offences, AVOs, Assaults and offences involving Police Powers.

Rylie recognises that many people appear in the Local Court in the first instance without legal representation. In these situations, Rylie is able to provide advice and appear in the District Court in an Appeal against Conviction or Sentence.

Rylie is part of the Legal Aid General Criminal Law Panel and has worked with the Law Society of NSW Pro Bono Scheme. Additionally, she is also a member of the Law Society of NSW Young Lawyers.
