Nikolina is a Solicitor in our Injury Compensation Department working alongside Joe Bonura, Partner and Tess Danjoux, Senior Associate.

Nikolina graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2016 and holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2017.

Since her admission in 2017, Nikolina has gained a broad range of experience across all areas of Personal Injury Litigation, including Motor Vehicle Accidents (pre and post December 2017), Occupiers Liability, Medical Negligence, Common Law claims and Workers Compensation matters. Prior to joining Marsdens in August 2020, Nikolina worked at a law firm in the Sutherland Shire practicing in Personal Injury and Wills and Estates.

Over the years, Nikolina has had successful conduct of matters in the District Court and the Personal Injury Commission. She has developed strong written and communication skills. Nikolina understands that her client’s may not understand the various processes involved in seeking compensation, as a result, she strongly believes in explaining the processes clearly and updating her client’s each step of the way. Further, Nikolina also understands that all client’s that come to her, have experienced something traumatic in their life. Therefore, she always strives to make the process less stressful because, in her opinion, experiencing another stressor is the last thing that she would want her client’s to endure.

Nikolina is approachable, friendly and empathetic. She finds it most rewarding to be able to do her best to restore a clients' life after a traumatic event.

Nikolina is also fluent in Serbian and basic Macedonian.

Outside of work, Nikolina enjoys spending time with her family and four-legged daughter, Lily as well as eating good food and travelling.
