Kaya is a Solicitor practicing exclusively in our Family Law department and works under Partner Tom Reeve in our Sydney CBD Office. Kaya joined the Marsdens team in 2018. Kaya holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Criminology.
Since joining Marsdens Law Group in 2018, Kaya has worked exclusively in Family Law.
Prior to joining the Marsdens Law Group, Kaya gained invaluable exposure to a number of areas of law, including property law, estate law and criminal law, by working in a boutique firm for a number of years.
Kaya works regularly on both complex parenting and property matters that involve high levels of conflict, family violence, allegations of family violence, substance abuse, relocation, complex entity structures and child protection issues.
Kaya is dedicated to adopting a compassionate, cost effective and efficient approach with her clients. Kaya is able to utilise her Social Science degree to best understand people, which is particularly useful when working with clients who are very often experiencing a traumatic and emotionally draining separation. Kaya aims to minimise conflict, stress and cost for her clients by providing realistic and prompt advice. Kaya prides herself on being accessible and ensuring her clients feel supported throughout the entirety of their matter.
Kaya grew up in Newcastle, then moved to the Sutherland Shire. She now lives in the Macarthur area. When not at work, you can find Kaya watching true crime documentaries or planning her next overseas holiday.
