Erica is a family law solicitor working out of our Liverpool Office. Erica works closely with Senior Associate, Kimberly Buttriss, who runs our Liverpool Family Law Department.
Erica joined Marsdens Law Group in 2018, working exclusively in family law.
Prior to her work in the legal field, Erica studied a double degree of Psychology and Laws at the University of Wollongong. Thanks to her Bachelors of Psychology, Erica has a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological toll a major life event such as a divorce can have on a person. Erica brings not only her legal knowledge, but the ability to help guide her clients through challenging circumstances, including changes to the time they spend with their children, adapting to a new life, family violence or allegations of violence, and staying positive throughout the difficult time a divorce settlement can present. It is this understanding that means Erica is driven to do her best to help clients achieve a settlement outside of the Court arena. Erica knows that family law matters are not always easy for clients to go through, and is focussed on minimising any unnecessary stress, costs or conflicts for her clients.
Erica has also completed an internship with the Judges and Magistrates of the Parramatta Courts, which has allowed her a unique insight into how the Courts and their officials function behind the scenes. This arms Erica with a different perspective of the Court and Court work.
Erica has a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Psychology, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. She is an admitted solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW, and is on the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia.
Erica was born and bred in the Macarthur region, and calls Campbelltown home. She is also a member of Business Networking International in the Liverpool area. She is passionate about fitness, and considers her Alaskan Malamute dog ‘Bandit’ to be her baby.
