Alysha is a solicitor practicing in the Family Law Department at our Sydney office working alongside Partner Tom Reeve. She was admitted as a Solicitor by the Supreme Court of NSW in 2022, having achieved a combined Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Social Science majoring in Criminology and Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Newcastle (UON) in late 2021.

Prior to joining the Marsden’s Law Group, Alysha started her career working in a boutique family law firm in Newcastle as well as volunteer work at the University of Newcastle Legal Centre (UNLC) for a number of years. Alysha then moved from Newcastle to Sydney and into an Associate position within the Court gaining exposure to a number of areas of law including family law, property law, estate law and criminal law as well as invaluable Court and litigation process and procedure.

Alysha took part in a volunteer program with UON, travelling to Cambodia for the completion of an Anthropology and Criminology Law Course in 2019 working for a community based non-for profit organisation in Siem Reap. Alysha is able to utilise her Social Science degree to best to understand the importance of open, honest and compassionate communication with clients.

When Alysha is not at work, you can find her spending time with family and grabbing coffee with friends by the beach.
