Yesterday, our very own Jim Marsden OAM was given a BIG SURPRISE when he was awarded The St Benedict Community Award in a surprise morning tea hosted by Mater Dei Organisation!
Some history - The St Benedict Community Award was established in 2010 by Tony Fitzgerald to acknowledge and recognise students, staff and volunteers for their service to Mater Dei. Traditionally this award has been presented at the St Benedict Feast Day Mass in July each year, as the Mass didn’t occur because of COVID, Mater Dei had to re-imagine hence the surprise morning tea at Marsdens Law Group.
Thank you to the beautiful students and school captain from Mater Dei that made yesterday that little bit more special and a big congratulations to Jim!
