Premier joins Regional NSW Taskforce Meeting

22 MAY 2020

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian joined in on Wednesday’s Regional NSW Taskforce meeting to discuss relevant issues and projects that are impacting on the local region. Taskforce members were able to engage with the Premier and voice their issues for the region during this current health crisis we are all facing. The Premier discussed the current planning for the pandemic and exactly what the road forward will look like!

The taskforce provides a regional focus and makes practical recommendations to support the regional economy and the community now, during the recovery phase and into the future. The local Government areas of Camden, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee, Goulburn Mulware, Upper Lachlan and Yass Valley are represented on the regional taskforce.

Our Senior Partner, Jim Marsden OAM, is a member of the Taskforce. Jim believes that it is very beneficial, particularly for the local area. “The Taskforce has been running for about 6 weeks and is going very well. To have the Premier attend the meeting during the week was very extremely helpful. I don’t wish to be political but she appears to be doing an exceptional job under very very difficult circumstances” Jim said.
