2025 John Marsden Memorial Best and Fairest Award

Each year, the Western Sydney University Law School hosts an event to recognise and celebrate the achievements of its top-performing law students.

The John Marsden Memorial Best and Fairest Award in Alternative Dispute Resolution was established in memory of John Marsden who had a passion for law, a love of life and commitment to minority groups and less privileged individuals within our community. 

We are pleased to congratulate our 2025 outstanding recipient at the WSU ceremony: Taylah Hufton. 

Taylah says, "Receiving this award has boosted my confidence in my abilities and strengthened my motivation to continue striving toward my goals. It serves as a meaningful reminder that all the hard work is truly worthwhile and fuels my commitment to making a relevant impact.

Thank you so much for recognising my hard work and providing me with more motivation to keep pushing forward. You have inspired me to work harder and hopefully achieve more awards."
