Marsdens at the Western Sydney Law School’s 30th Anniversary Gala
Marsdens at the Western Sydney Law School’s 30th Anniversary Gala
Celebrating a legacy of law, community, and the future ahead.

Last Thursday evening, the Parramatta Town Hall glowed as the Western Sydney University School of Law marked its 30th Anniversary with a spectacular Gala Celebration.
This milestone event was graced by key figures in the legal and academic communities, including the Chancellor, Professor Jennifer Westacott AO, and Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor George Williams AO FASSA. Guests were treated to a keynote address by the Hon. Justice Virginia Bell, and a thought-provoking panel discussion exploring the future of the legal profession—featuring some of the School’s most distinguished alumni, judges, and legal leaders.
Among the attendees were Marsdens’ very own Tess Danjoux, Partner and Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law, and Ben Brown, Associate in Criminal Law—both proud alumni of Western Sydney University. Their attendance not only marked a return to their legal roots, but also reflected Marsdens’ deep and ongoing commitment to supporting local education, growth, and talent in Western Sydney.
Congratulations to Western Sydney University School of Law on three decades of excellence, community impact, and fierce advocacy. We’re honoured to be part of the journey—and excited for what the next chapter holds.
