Community Wrap up - 8th August
The past week and a half has been a wonderful reminder of why we’re so proud to be part of the Macarthur and Wollondilly communities. From charity fundraisers to business networking events, our team has been out in force, lending our support to causes close to our hearts and celebrating the people who make our region thrive.
26 July – Youth Solutions Annual Charity Event: Jingle in July
Some of our team joined Youth Solutions for their 2025 Jingle in July Annual Charity Event, which raised an incredible $74,000 in support of youth wellbeing, education, and drug and alcohol prevention programs. It was an inspiring night of fun, community spirit, and fundraising for an important cause.
1 August – Kids of Macarthur Annual Women’s Luncheon
As proud long-time supporters of Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation, we were thrilled to attend this year’s Annual Women’s Luncheon. The afternoon brought the community together to raise funds for the ongoing purchase of vital paediatric equipment for our local hospitals.
2 August – Corporate Clash – Sean Bunnell
We couldn’t be prouder of Sean Bunnell, Senior Associate in our Commercial team, who swapped his suit for boxing gloves to participate in Corporate Clash. Sean’s efforts in the ring helped raise funds for a fantastic cause – an incredible example of dedication both inside and outside the office.
5 August – Victress Connection Breakfast
Our team members Jean, Nevine, Tess, and Vayshali enjoyed another engaging Victress Connection breakfast, connecting with inspiring local women in business. These monthly events are always a highlight for our team.
5 August – Wollondilly Women in Business 10th Birthday
Held at the NSW Rail Museum, the Wollondilly Women in Business Network celebrated a decade of supporting and empowering local women in business. We were honoured to join in marking this milestone and to celebrate everything WWIB has achieved – and all that’s still to come.
6 August – Staff Skipping for ‘Jeans for Genes’
Our team took part in the 100 Skips a Day Challenge, raising awareness and funds for children living with genetic diseases. It was a fun (and energetic!) way to contribute to a vital cause.
7 August – Staff Wore Jeans for Genes Day
Continuing our support for the Children’s Medical Research Institute, our staff proudly wore jeans to raise funds for research into treatments and cures that will save children’s lives.
