David is a Partner in our Local Government, Planning and Environmental Law Section. David has been with Marsdens since 1986 and has a broad range of experience in a number of areas of litigation.  He has been an integral part of our Environmental Law Section since 2000. David’s practice focuses on the growing area of civil enforcement and criminal prosecution of environmental offences, as well as the valuation of land upon compulsory acquisition or for Land Tax purposes.

David’s clients are mainly Local Government Authorities and as well as providing advice on planning and Local Government matters, he also appears in the Land and Environment Court and Local Court.

David is currently secretary of the Cobbitty Park Cricket Club and a Member and past President of the Macarthur Law Society.

He has also had past involvement in local community affairs having been a member and secretary of the Camden Apex Club, a local speaker to community organisations as part of the Law Society’s Bureau of Speakers, a visiting lecturer to Camden High
School on legal studies, a consultant to the Planning Committee for the Campbelltown Camden District Cricket Club and a group study exchange participant to Denmark through Camden Rotary Club.

David is married with 2 children and resides in the Macarthur area.
