Nevine Youssef

Nevine has been a member of the Marsdens team since 1996. Nevine is partner in charge of the Family Law team in Campbelltown.

Nevine is a Family Law Accredited Specialist specialising in family disputes over parenting post separation,  property matters, defacto and same sex property matters, child support, binding financial agreements and children's care and protection work.
 
Nevine is also accredited by the Attorney- General's office as a Family Dispute resolution Practitioner (FDRP). As an FDRP Nevine is able to assist parties going through separation to mediate their differences and to facilitate discussions so that they are able to avoid litigation through the court system. Nevine as an FDRP is also able to issue what is referred to as a s60I Certificate to evidence that the parties have participated in Family Dispute Resolution also known as mediation. This Certificate is usually essential before any Court proceedings are commenced unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Nevine has acquired a wide range of knowledge and experience. Regularly appearing as an advocate in the Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court and Local Courts, Nevine is a competent, reliable and committed member of the team.

In addition to her legal qualifications, Nevine holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education for the University of New South Wales, majoring in Microbiology.

Nevine provides free legal advice at the Benevolent Society and other local organisations and has a strong involvement in the local community.
