Nelson Arias

Nelson Arias Alvarez is a Solicitor and commenced his career with Marsdens in 2007 in the firm's Commercial Litigation department.  Nelson has experience in matters involving complex contract disputes, building and construction law, corporate insolvency, trade practices and competition law, corporation law and administrative law.
 
Nelson holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (UWS) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (Merit)(ANU) and is currently completing a Master of Laws Degree (Government and Commercial Law) at the Australian National University.  Nelson is also a member of a number of professional organisations, including the Australian Institute of Management and New South Wales Young Lawyers. 

Nelson is committed to supporting local community organisations and is a Director of Macarthur Diversity Services Incorporated, a non for profit organisation providing services to assist disadvantaged and marginalised persons in the greater Macarthur region.
 
Outside of law Nelson has a keen interest in property development, popular science, and all things National Geographic.  He also enjoys Latin dance, running and ocean swimming.
