Mark Hanna

Mark Hanna is a solicitor in the firm's Local Government, Planning & Environment law department working primarily under Adam Seton, appearing in matters for both Councils and private clients, primarily in the Land and Environment Court and Local Courts. His main motivation is to make a difference in the commuinity, either by way of justice or saving the environment.   

Mark's previous experience includes working and appearing in criminal matters in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales, serious indictable matters including large quanitites of drug possesion and importation and summary matters in the Local Court including traffic offences and licence appeals.            

Mark grew up in the innerwest of Sydney and attended Trinity Grammar and Fort Street High School, which he graduated from in 2007. He graduated from Notre Dame University, Broadway campus in 2013 where he obtained his Bachelor of Law/Arts, majoring in politics. After obtaining his Bachelor of Law/Arts he completed Pratical Legal Training at The College Of Law.

Mark is a member of the NSW Law Society and the Environment and Planning Law Association of NSW. Mark supports and actively helps Exodus Youth Worx. Exodus is a non-for-profit community organisation working for young people aged 13 - 30 who are facing many challenges such as homelessness, drug and alcohol dependency, exclusion from school, neglect and many other forms of abuse. Exodus supports these young people as they work to turn their lives around to overcome these immense personal traumas.

Marks interests include golf, football, tennis, the beach, human rights, climate change and travelling.
