Grant Butterfield
Grant is the Partner in Charge of our Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Insolvency Departments and has been with Marsdens since 1996.
Grant's practice focuses on complex contractual disputes, Trade Practices and Insolvency litigation. In the area of Insolvency law, Grant acts for creditors, both corporate and individual and administrators and liquidators, advising on, amongst other things, the complex area of the recovery of assets.
Grant was awarded a Master of Laws Degree from the University of Technology, with a major in Commercial Law, in 2001 and a Master of Business Law from the University of Sydney in 2006.
Grant is accredited by the Law Society of NSW in the area of Advocacy. He is an Associate Member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia. He is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Western Sydney and a former member of the Advisory Committee of the Rugby League Professionals Association and past Director.
Grant is also actively involved in community affairs, being a Director and the past President of the Campbelltown Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Macarthur Law Society.
